The Uncle Jee story
Uncle Jee began with a familiar job: the meat shop. As husbands, we often found ourselves making the journey, waiting at the counter and bringing the family’s order home. It took time out of already busy days. When we tried ordering online, the experience too often fell short of what we expected.
Growing up, the person behind the counter was often “Uncle Jee”: a familiar elder who knew your family, understood your preferences and earned your trust over time. We wanted to carry that care forward.
Household life has changed. Work, family responsibilities and the daily demands of feeding ourselves compete for attention. We asked a simple question: what would the butcher look like if we built it for the way people live today? That became Uncle Jee.
Making everyday meals easier
We bring together halal meat, the cuts customers prefer and technology that makes ordering easier. Through recipes, serving-based meat suggestions, saved preferences and straightforward reordering, we help take some of the work out of feeding a household.
Convenience means fewer unnecessary journeys, less repeated effort and useful help at the moment someone needs it. It also means keeping customers informed and in control.

Our vision is to become the trusted halal companion for everyday meals, fitting naturally into people’s lives and connecting households with good food, useful guidance and, over time, local cooking talent.
Future concepts such as a local-cook marketplace remain ideas for research and testing rather than services we currently promise.
