As husbands, we often found ourselves making the journey, waiting at the counter and bringing the family's order home. It took time out of already busy days.
When we tried ordering online, the experience too often fell short of what we expected from a good butcher.
Where the name comes from
Growing up, the person behind the counter was often “Uncle Jee”: a familiar elder who knew your family, understood your preferences and earned your trust over time.
We wanted to carry that care forward.
The question
