Delivery Information

Where we deliver, what checkout confirms and how to receive chilled or frozen food safely.

Last reviewed 26 September 2026

The short version

Monday-Wednesday orders placed before 9pm follow the confirmed two-day delivery timetable.

Thursday orders placed before 2pm are due Friday; later Thursday, Friday and weekend orders are due Tuesday.

Bank holidays use the same weekday timetable.

Unless a guaranteed timed service is expressly confirmed, be available for delivery at any time up to 8pm on the confirmed delivery day.

Put chilled and frozen products away promptly after delivery.

Delivery areas and charges

Delivery eligibility is postcode based. Checkout shows the current delivery method, charge, free-delivery threshold where applicable and any minimum order before you continue.

A postcode being recognised does not guarantee every future delivery. Capacity, stock, weather, access or operational restrictions can occasionally affect service.

Confirmed delivery timetable

  • Monday before 9pm → Wednesday.
  • Monday at or after 9pm → Thursday.
  • Tuesday before 9pm → Thursday.

  • Sunday → Tuesday.
  • Bank holidays follow the same rule for whichever weekday they fall on.

Delivery timing

Checkout calculates and saves the confirmed delivery day from the time your order is placed. We will aim to provide an estimated carrier window where one is available, but unless your order expressly confirms a guaranteed timed service, that window is an estimate rather than a promise.

Please arrange for someone to receive perishable goods at any time up to 8pm on the confirmed delivery day. If a material delay or change occurs, we will use the contact details connected to the order where possible.

Missed deliveries

If our carrier attends the confirmed delivery address on the agreed delivery day and nobody is available to receive the order, the delivery may be recorded as missed. We may try to rearrange or redeliver, but another attempt, the same day or a particular delivery time cannot be guaranteed.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by an avoidable missed delivery where a valid delivery attempt was made. This does not affect your statutory rights where the delivery failure is caused by Uncle Jee or the carrier acting on our behalf.

Receiving food

  • Arrange for someone to receive perishable food where the delivery method requires handover.
  • Check the parcel promptly for obvious damage, leakage or temperature concerns.
  • Move chilled food into the fridge and frozen food into the freezer as soon as possible.
  • Follow the use-by date, storage temperature and defrosting instructions on the delivered label where these are more specific than general website guidance.

If delivery goes wrong

If your order is missing, damaged, seriously delayed or appears unsafe on arrival, do not consume food you believe is unsafe. Keep the affected product and packaging where safe to do so and contact support promptly with the order number.
