Cookie & Browser Storage Policy

How cookies and similar browser storage keep the shop working.

Last reviewed 1 October 2026

The short version

Essential storage can keep your basket, checkout state, session and security controls working.

Non-essential tracking must not be switched on before any consent required by law is obtained.

You can clear browser storage in your browser, but doing so may empty a guest basket or sign you out.

What we mean by cookies

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies such as local browser storage. They can remember a session, keep a basket between pages, preserve checkout state, store preferences or support security.

Essential storage

The current customer experience uses storage that is necessary or closely connected to services you request, including guest-basket state, checkout continuity, authentication and security. Essential technologies do not require consent where the applicable legal exemption applies, but we still explain them here.

Analytics, advertising and other non-essential uses

If Uncle Jee introduces analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage that requires consent, it must remain off until the customer has made the required choice. Refusing should be as easy as accepting, and customers must be able to change that choice later.

Your controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage can stop baskets, sign-in or checkout from working correctly.
